Healthcare where it is needed
As well as the primary healthcare we provide at Dr Anita Qureshi Memorial Welfare Clinic in Lahore, we bring medical aid to where it is needed in times of crisis or viral outbreaks.
About us
The brainchild of medical doctor, the late Dr. Anita Qureshi, Aaghaz Welfare Trust was set up to combat disease, illiteracy and poverty in Pakistan.
Alongside her husband, Dr. Agha Tariq Sajjad, Dr. Qureshi set out to fight these three ills so that the natural creativity and colorful beauty of Pakistan could shine through.

AAGHAZ WELFARE TRUST QURBANI 2026
Dear Friends & Supporters,
With your support once again Aaghaz Welfare Trust will arrange Qurbani at Eid ul Adha which is Insha'Allah either on the 26th or 27th of May (subject to the moon sighting in Pakistan).
Unfortunately the extreme inflation crisis and sky high prices in Pakistan continues, which directly hits the cost of living prices and animal prices. It is extremely difficult to get Qurbani animals at reasonable prices from the open market. However Aaghaz Welfare Trust has once again successfully arranged more affordable alternatives and have managed to keep qurbani hadya as keen as possible.
We sincerely hope that once again you will be able to join us and make it possible to distribute Qurbani to as many deserving households as possible.
This year the hadya will be at Rs.35,000/hissa.
